Officials Make Racing Possible – Join the Team in White

Swimming competitions can’t run without trained officials. From timekeepers to judges and referees, officials are essential — and they’re volunteers too!

At RSC, we’re growing our calendar of hosted events and need more club-trained officials to make these meets possible. No officials means no races. It’s that simple.

Why RSC Needs Officials

  • We're hosting more meets and need a qualified team poolside.
  • Sending our own officials helps us secure gala entries for RSC swimmers
  • More officials = smoother events and lower costs for families
  • Swim England requires a minimum number of qualified officials for meets to run

Why Become an Official?

  • Front-row view of the action
  • Help your swimmer and their club
  • Gain new skills and confidence
  • Be part of a passionate swim community
  • Enjoy free entry and refreshments at meets
